There is a creek that runs near our house, called ship creek. I have always loved this creek. It flows down from a glacier. This creek is SOOO cold, even in the summer. The kids love to put their feet in it. I don't know how they stand it. But, this winter, as every other winter, it has frozen over. It froze so solid that it pushed the water upfrom underneath, and caused it to flood. The army tried so hard to contain it. I think they have finally gotten a grip on it by piling up snow piles along the bank. The first picture is looking towards the mountains from where the creek is flowing. The second picture is taken on the other side of the bridge. It is amazing to see the steam.
